What is Sandan
Productions?
Sandan Productions is a
video production team formed from the nephew and uncle partnership
of Sanford Jackson and Dan McLellan. Originally they were
known as the Fast Pass Guys from their first production,
A Run in the Parks.
It was
through the making of this documentary that Sanford and Dan
discovered each others' passion for video production and that they work
extremely well together.
Sanford and Dan decided to
collaborate on a second production
I Can Make
A Difference. They decided that they would now need to have a more
universal name. This is when the name Sandan Productions was
conceived as a combination of their two first names. It also
reflects their hometown
of San Diego.
What has Sandan
Productions created?
A Run in the Parks
Sandan Productions first production,
A Run in the Parks,
is a 17-minute "funcumentary"
that documented a
crazy and fun day. Through the exploitation of Disney's
Fast Pass system, they managed to ride every single open ride in both
Disneyland and California Adventure in just one busy summer day.
I Can Make
A Difference
A 26-second Barack Obama
commercial that was accepted as a dramatic entry into
Moveon.org's ,"Obama in 30 Seconds"
competition. Over 1,100
commercials were submitted to the competition and received more than
4,700,000 on-line votes in less than one week. Although they did not make the finals they are proud of
their efforts and the finished product. Sanford and Dan would like
to thank all of those who supported them in this endeavor.
