Berkley Hart - Jeff Berkley and Calman
Hart have established themselves as one of the premier
acoustic duos
traveling the country. I would like to publicly and personally
thank them for allowing my nephew Sanford and me to use the rights
to "Across the Rubicon" for Sandan Production's I Can
Make a Difference.

David Pengelly - I didn't know a ukulele
performance
could be so funny. David is a frequent performer on cruise ships
and he knows how to get an audience laughing. He is also now an
obsessed roaster. So you can hire David to perform or
buy some coffee beans from him.

Glen Erath - Glen performs clean, customized corporate
comedy. I first fell in love with the wit of Glen Erath in
1984 as nearly every week he created a new Padres song on the
Padres Road to the World Series. Those songs are now the record
Sounds of Success. If you live in San Diego, you know him
as the writer and voice behind those zany Corky's Pest
Control commercials.

The Jack Straws - Loren Smith's
Jack Straws, combines theater and music, creating the perfect
fantasy for your event. All of the Jackstraws' costumes are
colorful and authentic. Themes range from Irish and English folk
music, Bush Band, and Renaissance to Pirates and Yachtsmen
singing nautical songs of the sea! Frequently they perform at
the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park.

Les Buffham -
Any friend of my father is a friend of mine. Les Buffham
is widely recognized as one of the premier cowboy entertainers
and considered by many to be the best cowboy poet writing and
performing today. His antics onstage combined with his
spontaneous humor, has earned him the Academy of Western Artists
prestigious Will Rogers Award for Cowboy Humorist/Storyteller
and he has shared the Best Song Of The Year Award with co-writer
Michael Fleming of New West for "Below the Kinney Rim." The song
also received the Western Music Association's Award for Best
Song / Songwriter.

Stars on The
Water - It's impossible to not have a good time when
listening to this band. Are you a parrot head? Do you
think the National Anthem should be changed to Margaritavile?
Then you must have this band at your next event. I have been
watching lead singer Jerry Gontang perform Jimmy Buffet songs
and his own style of witty tropical music for over a decade and
I have never been disappointed.

Waddie Mitchell - It was Waddie's performance at the
annual Cowboy Poetry Festival at Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita,
that made me first truly appreciate the art form of Cowboy.
Waddie's performances are witty, insightful and do a brilliant
job of painting a picture of the true lifestyle of the past and
present American Cowboy.

Juke Box Saturday Night - From weddings to beach
parties, Ed Bia is the perfect DJ for your event. I have
been working with Ed for over 15 years and he always satisfies
his clients. He is also regularly the DJ at the Corvette
Diner where he plays your favorite 50's and 60's Rock. He is a virtual
savant of musical knowledge. Ed also plays all the current
hits and everything else in between.

Berkley Hart - Jeff Berkley and Calman
Hart have established themselves as one of the premier
acoustic duos
traveling the country. This band is in the Folk section,
because I can't think of another appropriate genre. They
really are mix between Rock, Blues, & Folk. There music is alive with witty and soulful original lyrics.
I would like publicly and personally
thank them for allowing my nephew Sanford and me to use the rights
to "Across the Rubicon" for Sandan Production's

Tim Flannery -
Like Berkley Hart, Tim is classified under folk because I don't
have a better classification for his powerful music. Tim's
style of music is a blend of his Irish decent, his
Appalachian upbringing, and a taste of rock with
soulful lyrics. Tim was one of my favorite San
Diego Padres when I was a child. As an adult, I have come to appreciate him even
more for being a great guy and my all-around favorite musician.
Note: Tim is currently still pursuing an illusive World Series
ring with his close friend Bruce Bochy, as the the 3rd base
coach for the San Francisco Giants. Therefore his
availability is limited to the baseball off-season. The best way
to catch a performance is to go to Tim's web page and
sign up for his newsletter.

House Concerts
House Concerts are a terrific way to hear local talented San Diego
artists in an intimate setting for a cheap price. My suggestion would be
to visit both links below and register for house concert updates and a first
chance at very limited seating. House concerts make for a great date
night.

Canyon Folk - Located at the border of Harbison
Canyon and Crest this is a great location for those that live in the East
County and worth the drive for those who don't. Bill and Shirlee will make
you feel right home in their home as you listen to
some of San Diego's most talented musicians.

Citizen Band
- I have not yet had the honor to watch Citizen Band live in
Performance. But with Jeff Berkley at the helm, they have to
rock! Citizen Band likes guitars. They believe in amplification.
They live for music. Rock 'n' roll is their religion, and you
better come ready for the preachin'.

The Fabulous
Pelicans - Believe it or not, one on the most boring events
that I ever been a part of, was a Harley Davidson Convention.
That is until the Pelicans took the stage. This band seems to
know every great dance across all genres and they perform as if
you were listening to the original artist. They Rock!

Rockola - America's premier classic rock band. This band absolutely brings it. I have
booked them to
entertain at events that exceeded 8,000 guests. For large
events, if you
book far enough in advance they will train
and include the children of your guests in their performance.

taking away the stresses of your guests as Steel Drum Band. If

Trails on Rails - This band is making a lot of noise
at
folk festivals and country western events throughout the west.
It took me a while to appreciate the success that this band
is having in the folk and country western scene because I was to close
to them. A member of the the band Ken Wilcox was my next-door
neighbor growing up. Way to go Ken! Keep living the dream.
